Soon after our apprenticeships began, we set off on a trip to the Baltic Sea to get to know each other. We didn’t know each other at first, but on the coach on the way there we had the chance to start. Once we arrived at our accommodation, we moved into our rooms and found out who our roommates were for the duration of the trip.
We then got to find out our strengths and weaknesses and grow together through various team-building activities. We enjoyed playing beach volleyball, barbecuing together and going on various excursions, all of which helped us to become a team without noticing it!
The Baltic Sea with its sandy beaches and dunes was perfect for us, even though the summer was over and the weather could have been better. Getting away from our everyday lives and the classroom was a really good idea. Traditionally there are two trips at GPB College and both were really well organised and had some real highlights.
Each of the two weeks was full of fun and team spirit. We were able to get to know our fellow students better and made new friends. So the GPB College plan worked. Would you like to be a part of this next time? Then find out more now and start your training course with us in February.
